What does ZorgSubsidieKalender do?
ZorgSubsidieKalender is a consultancy for care and welfare and we have a large database with all subsidies and funds for care and welfare. We also provide workshops, subsidies, fundraising and advice.
For what do you use webinars?
We use webinars to demonstrate our SubsidieKalender database and to share knowledge to promote our workshops.
Why did you start with webinars?
We started a webinar to show our potential customers how the database works without becoming a customer immediately and with the demo I can do that very well.
And why did you choose WebinarGeek?
We chose for WebinarGeek because it is in Dutch as well. I mean, I speak English, but I like to have Dutch support for these kind of things.

Of course I did more orientation and saw tools with a lot of functionalities, But yeah, you have to really make use out of it or turn it off. This was the fastest way for us to get going.
What is your purpose with webinars?
Our purpose with webinars is to provide better help for our customers by showing them all the options from our database.
And of course it’s a relief to not have to get in the car or train for every customer. Then I would be on my way for about a week and a half, now I have one moment a week to reach all those customers and show them what our database entails and what we have to offer.
Why do webinars work for you?
Webinars work for us very well, because we notice that customers like to have contact over the phone. But even more through a webinar, because then we can show them things at the same time. They can ask questions via chat and they feel much more heard and more engaged.
What was your most successful webinar ever?
Yes, the most successful webinar ever. You can say with a hundred participants, but to me it is a success if customers are convinced of our services and take a subscription. And we sold a lot of subscriptions after giving webinars.

What is the most important tip for everyone that wants to start with webinars?
Yes, my most important tip to start with webinars is: Think very carefully about your current reach and how that can be improved with webinars. If you organize a webinar and promote it well you can talk to a hundred people at once.
And yes, if you have limited time then you cannot step in to the car for a hundred times to visit all those people to tell your story, it doesn’t matter if it’s sharing of knowledge or showing the database. But yeah, that is the most important tip I have.

What’s your favorite feature?
One of the features I like to use is screen sharing, for us very important because we can show from our own computer how the database looks and works. And that makes it lively and convincing to customers and it works really well for us.
