How to Design a Webinar Registration Banner That Works on Any Device

Your webinar registration page is often the first impression your audience gets. And first impressions matter. On our new registration page, you can upload one image that automatically adapts to desktop, tablet, and mobile, without needing to resize.
But here's the thing; to make sure your banner actually looks good on every device, there are a few things to keep in mind. This quick guide walks you through how it works, what to avoid, and how to design a banner that makes your registration page stand out.
How the New Banner Works (and What It Means for Your Design)
You only need to upload one banner image. That single image automatically adapts to different screen sizes by being cropped to fit the right aspect ratios. We crop the image based on screen width rather than shrinking it. This keeps your banner clear and readable, especially on smaller screens. If we scaled the full image down for mobile, your content would be too small to see properly.
Here’s what that cropping looks like in practice, using our recommended upload size of 1940 × 388 pixels (the maximum size shown on desktop):
Tablet view: 1164 × 388
Mobile view: 776 × 388
Both tablet and mobile views crop from the sides, so it’s important to design with this in mind.
Keep the Essentials in the Center
The most important part of your banner — whether it's your logo, webinar title, or message — should sit right in the center. We recommend designing with a safe zone of 776 × 388 pixels. That part will always be visible, even on mobile.
If your banner is set up in a way where the most important details are shown outside of that area, you can select a focus point in your banner. This focus point will be the center of your banner, and will always be shown, even on smaller screens.
To help, we’ve created a template that shows you exactly where that safe zone sits. It makes designing a banner easier and more predictable.
Why We Built It This Way
There’s no such thing as a single "mobile" resolution. Phones and tablets come in all shapes and screen widths. If we didn’t crop the banner, you’d need to upload at least three different images just to cover the basics.
This new banner setup solves that. It helps you:
Create a registration page that looks good on any device
Save time by uploading just one image
Focus on your message instead of messing with formats
Make Your First Impression Count
Your banner isn’t just a background. It sets the tone, shows who you are, and invites people in. With the new design rules in place, you can feel confident your banner will look good everywhere.
Start with the template, center your message, and bring your registration page to life.
